“The Jurassic Games” Now Available on VOD

Uncork’d Entertainment, in association with High Octane Pictures, proudly announce the video-on-demand (VOD) release of “The Jurassic Games” on June 12, followed by the DVD release on July 3, 2018.

“The Jurassic Games” was filmed last March in many of Oklahoma’s most scenic locations, including several Oklahoma State Parks such as Gloss Mountains, Little Sahara and Robbers Cave, providing the film’s picturesque landscapes. Additional photography occurred at Oklahoma City’s Boiling Point Media studio facilities where a futuristic set was built to serve as one of the film’s primary locations. Utilizing the Oklahoma Film Enhancement Rebate Program administered by the Oklahoma Film + Music Office (OF+MO), the film employed an all-Oklahoma crew throughout principal photography with most of the post-production special effects processes rendered in-state as well.

A unique mixture of “The Hunger Games” and “Jurassic World”, the film is set in a re-imagined world of the near future wherein ten death row convicts are chosen to compete in The Jurassic Games, the ultimate virtual reality game show that pits its players against dinosaurs and each other. “The Jurassic Games” stars Oklahoma native Ryan Merriman (“Final Destination 3”, “The Ring Two”) and Perry Reeves (“Entourage”, “Old School”) alongside a talented local cast, including Adam Hampton, Katie Burgess and Cate Jones to name a few.

“The Jurassic Games” marks the third feature film from Oklahoma’s own Director Ryan Bellgardt. The film recently celebrated its world-premiere at the 2018 deadCenter Film Festival where it screened to a sold-out crowd of hundreds and received the festival’s Special Jury Narrative Feature Award.
