“The Dawnseeker” Wraps Production in Oklahoma

Pikchure Zero Entertainment and Uncork’d Entertainment, in association with the Oklahoma Film + Music Office (OF+MO), proudly announce the wrap of principal photography on the feature film “The Dawnseeker”. The film, which is utilizing the Oklahoma Film Enhancement Rebate Program administered by OF+MO, completed filming on-location at Turner Falls Park in Davis, Oklahoma, at the end of March.

Set in the year 2245 when Earth’s sun threatens to wipe out all of humanity, “The Dawnseeker” follows five hired mercenaries who travel to an uncharted planet to collect a rare mineral known as stardust to replenish the dying star. After their spaceship crashes on the alien planet, they are stalked and hunted by a creature far more advanced than anything they have ever encountered before.

Starring Franziska Schissler, Alexander Kane, Jason Skeen and Khu, with an Oklahoma-based crew, “The Dawnseeker” marks the 5th feature film from Director Justin Price.

“Oklahoma has such a huge array of landscapes and locations to lense, it forced us to change our vision. It truly is a place that can become anything you can imagine,” says Writer/Director Price.

“Oklahoma’s incentive program affords film producers shooting on-location the opportunity to collaborate with our local talent while also benefitting from the natural beauty found throughout the state among our many eco-regions,” said OF+MO Director Tava Maloy Sofsky. “These visual postcards of Oklahoma captured on film not only add value to a production, but positively promote the state to movie-goers around the world.”
