Prairie Surf Media and Oklahoma City University to Host Master Class with Richard Rosser; Next Level Screenwriting Course Announced

Prairie Surf Media (PSM) and Oklahoma City University (OKCU) are proud to present a two-day Master Class with prolific filmmaker and Oklahoma native Richard Rosser August 21-22, 2021 at OKCU.

Guided by Rosser’s years of experience on numerous TV shows, including “This Is Us”, “24”, “Quantico”, “Chicago Med” and “The Mentalist” to name a few, this Master Class invites participants to take a deep dive into film organization and logistics while exploring the complexities of production management and film scheduling. This immersive experience will include breaking down a script, an overview of the production process, interviewing & hiring department heads, networking tip & tricks and more. The cost for this Master Class is $125 for students and $250 for non-students.

In addition to this Master Class event, Prairie Surf will also be hosting a Next Level Screenwriting course. Capped at 20 students, Prairie Surf Co-Founder and Co-CEO Matt Payne and additional guest speakers will demystify the intricacies of the writing process and provide personal feedback to student work. These classes will be held on Tuesday evenings 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. beginning August 24 through September 14, 2021, at Prairie Surf Studios.
