Open Call for Acoustic Musicians – Best Health Expo

The Oklahoma Film + Music Office (OF+MO) and the Best Health Expo announce an open call for acoustic musicians/bands to perform during their event May 9-10 at the Reed Conference Center in Midwest City, Oklahoma. The Expo will need seven artists on Saturday, May 9, and four artist on Sunday, May 10. Each musician/band will be expected to perform a 45-minute set.

The Best Health Expo was designed to spotlight Oklahoma City’s wide variety of local health and wellness businesses, along with scheduled classes taught by experts in their fields. The mission is to educate the public on the myriad natural and alternative health and fitness options available locally and to promote healthy living. Expo guests will learn new ways to support and improve their health, fitness and well being. Best Health Expo will feature classes, workshops and vendors totally focused on BEST health and wellness. Exhibitors include float balance, fitness, acupuncture, holistic healing practitioners, naturopaths, health coaches, natural foods and more. To learn more, visit besthealthexpo.com.

The selected musicians will receive:

  • Financial compensation
  • Access to the volunteer area where food and refreshements will be provided

Genre
All genres are welcome to apply, however acoustic instruments are preferred. The music will be used for background ambiance of the event.

Proximity
Artists from across Oklahoma are invited to enter the open call. 

Register in the Oklahoma Music Guide
The open call for acoustic artists is in promotion of the Oklahoma Music Directory, the Oklahoma Film + Music Office’s FREE online database of Oklahoma musicians and music businesses. Therefore, acts must be registered in the database in order to be selected. If you are not already registered, please register for the Oklahoma Music Directory before submitting your application. 


Applications must be received by 11:59 PM on February 14, 2020.
