Oklahoma Film + Music Office Partners with City of Davis to Present Turner Falls Red Dirt Music Festival

The Oklahoma Film + Music Office (OF+MO), a division of the Oklahoma Department of Commerce, is proud to be a returning sponsor of the 2024 Turner Falls Red Dirt Music Festival to be held at Turner Falls Park in Davis, Okla., this Saturday, October 5, at 2 p.m.

Presented by the City of Davis and Turner Falls Park, Turner Falls Red Dirt Music Festival is a family-friendly event showcasing some of the state’s most talented Red Dirt musicians with additional activities, including local food and beverage trucks and retail vendors. This year’s performance lineup includes Carly Nash, The Smokin’ Oaks, Gannon Fremin & CCREV, Cam Allen and headliner Cody Canada & The Departed.

“The City of Davis and Turner Falls are excited to host the second annual Turner Falls Red Dirt Music Festival this weekend,” said City of Davis Community Services Director Stacey Harness. “We’re showcasing Oklahoma talent from all over the state set in some of southern Oklahoma’s most beautiful scenery. The weather is projected to be fabulous, so bring your chair or blanket and spend the day with us.”

“We are thrilled the City of Davis is once again hosting this exciting celebration of Oklahoma’s own Red Dirt music genre in Southern Oklahoma,” said OF+MO Director Jeanette Stanton. “This event is truly special in that it not only helps champion local musicians, but from a local and regional perspective, serves to be a significant opportunity to further engage community and economic development through the music industry.”

With live music and events scheduled throughout the afternoon and evening hours, guests are encouraged to dress for the day’s predicted temperatures and bring lawn chairs and blankets. General admission tickets are $35 and gates for entry to the park open at 12 p.m.
