OK in LA: Meet OF+MO at 2022 AFCI Week

The Oklahoma Film + Music Office (OF+MO) is partnering with the Association of Film Commissioners International (AFCI) to present programming for the 2022 AFCI Week in Los Angeles June 27-29. AFCI is the only global non-profit professional organization representing city, state, regional, provincial and national film commission members.

While most of the events and activities at AFCI Week are reserved for members and affiliates, production professionals are invited to learn more about Oklahoma’s film and television industry at the inaugural Location Lounge. This FREE event will be held Wednesday, June 29, 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Sofitel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills, located at 8555 Beverly Blvd., Los Angeles, CA, 90048. Pre-registration is required to attend the Locations Lounge at AFCI Week. For more information or to register, click here

Also on June 29, OF+MO will co-present The Physical Production Power Brunch for conference attendees, alongside The Hollywood Reporter as well as Entertainment Partners, Production Service Network, Warner Bros. and the Fort Worth Film Commission.

“Through our partnership with AFCI, we look forward to promoting Oklahoma’s growing film and television industry to many of the most respected film and television studios whose executives will be in attendance,” said OF+MO Director Tava Maloy Sofsky. “Additionally, we hope to connect with both new and current business development leads at the AFCI Locations Lounge and while in Los Angeles as we learn more about current industry trends and practices alongside our fellow film commissioners from around the world.”
