The Oklahoma Film + Music Office (OF+MO) is gearing up for two film festivals in Oklahoma and a film conference in California throughout the month of April.
OF+MO will host a booth at the Association of Film Commissioners International’s (AFCI) Locations & Global Finance Conference April 6-8 in Burbank, California, at the Marriott Burbank Convention Center. OF+MO will proudly showcase Oklahoma’s 35-37% competitive film and music cash rebate incentive, as well as the state’s stunning and diverse locations to filmmakers, industry delegates and studio executives. While in California, OF+MO will host the 3rd annual Okie Roundup to meet and network with Oklahoma expatriate filmmakers to discuss Oklahoma’s growing film and music industries. OF+MO is proud to sponsor the BisonBison Film Festival (BBFF) taking place in Ponca City, Oklahoma, April 7-8. BBFF recognizes, promotes and showcases the work of emerging filmmakers enrolled in colleges, universities and trade schools in mid-America. This year, the festival will host a screenwriting workshop on Saturday, April 8, from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the Phillips 66 Fourth Street Clubhouse. The workshop will be followed by an open panel discussion with the 2017 BBFF jurors. Both events will be free and open to the public.
