Emergency Resources for the Film + Music Workforce

Dear Oklahoma Film + Music Industry Members + Supporters,

As our professional and personal lives continue to adapt with the escalating concerns of the COVID-19 pandemic, one things remain true – the spirit of Oklahoma and its people remain strong and steadfast throughout these unprecedented times in our history.

We at the Oklahoma Film + Music Office (OF+MO) are aware of the enormous financial burdens to our filmmakers, musicians and related industry members and services whose creative practices and incomes are being adversely impacted by COVID-19. OF+MO is deeply saddened that this pandemic is resulting in loss of work due to the implementation of necessary safety policies which have resulted in venue closures, productions halts, festival and event cancellations, and travel restrictions. To help support the concerns of the industry during this time, we have expanded our website to include organizations providing economic relief funds to qualifying applicants.

Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with these opportunities by visiting the COVID-19 Resources for Film + Music Workforce page on our website.

The OF+MO team is dedicated to continue serving our growing industries and collaboratively finding solutions in this current virtual world. New resources will be updated regularly so please check back often and share with anyone you know in the film + music industries. For additional updates, be sure to follow us on social media (@okfilmmusic) and keep an eye on your inbox.

For the most up-to-date information regarding COVID-19, we encourage you to follow the CDCOklahoma State Department of Health (OSDH) and Oklahoma State Government websites.

One day at a time,
Tava Maloy Sofsky + the OF+MO Team
