Oklahoma State Parks boast some of the state’s most impressive filming sites. Located in Ardmore, Lake Murray State Park is Oklahoma’s first and largest state park consisting of 12,500 acres located on the shores of beautiful Lake Murray. The park’s diverse terrain, exceptional trails and historic sites make Lake Murray State Park a favorite destination among outdoor, water sport and ATV riding enthusiasts. Additionally, the state park also boasts a golf course, tennis courts, baseball fields and a lodge offering 52 guest rooms and suites in addition to the 56 cabins nestled throughout the area. Construction on their new lodge is underway with plans to open in the winter of 2016/2017.
