Located in downtown Muskogee, the historic Roxy Theater hosts monthly film screenings, live theater, music and more. The venue, with origins dating back to 1948, was reopened in August 2001 after closing its doors for nearly 30 years. Since reopening, the Roxy Theater has greatly enhanced Muskogee’s cultural options and revitalized its nightlife with a number of events and entertainment, including the upcoming Bare Bones International Film and Music Festival to be held April 18-23. The Roxy will also be home to the new Oklahoma Movie Hall of Fame, which will celebrate its grand opening with a special ceremony in early May 2017.
