Truck Stop Waltz – Casting

The short film “Truck Stop Waltz” will be filmed over the night of November 21 at a diner in the Oklahoma City metro. There will be a required rehearsal a few weeks prior – probably on November 7 but this date is subject to change.

This is only a one-night shoot but will most likely be from dusk to dawn. Roles are paid.

CASTING:

KATIE GREEN (Female, 18-28)  LEAD.  Katie is the waitress at an overnight diner. She likes to gossip and has very little worldly experience but this doesn’t stop her from lacking confidence. She also speaks with a rural accent.

DEPUTY VANDER HORN (Male, 20-35). Vander Horn is the greenhorn on the force. He is a bit of an eccentric and has a knack for getting on the Sheriff’s nerves.

CASH (Male, Caucasian 20-40). Cash is a nicely dressed out-of-towner at the diner. He should have the ability to play someone appearing as an innocent passer-by, but also conveys something sinister below the surface.
