The need for extras next week has been announced for the limited television series A THOUSAND TOMORROWS. Filming next week is in Inola and Sperry, Oklahoma.

The series is based on the bestselling Faith-based book by Karen Kingsbury.

A THOUSAND TOMORROWS follows Cody Gunnar, a bull rider who’s willing to pay any price for a thousand more tomorrows with the person he loves more than anything else. It is an unforgettable, breathtaking love story of sacrifice, faith, and devotion that will inspire the hearts of all who see it. The series is preliminarily set for a premiere this Christmas season on the Pure Flix streaming service.

Emmy-winning director Kohl Glass was signed onto the project by Tulsa-based Red Clay Studios.

Pay for background performers is a guarantee of $100 for up to 10 hours of filming. Anything over 10 hours on a shoot day will incur overtime.

All extras will be asked to bring their own western wear. Jeans, boots, cowboy hats, western shirts, etc.

Pre-engagement COVID-19 testing is required in advance of filming. Persons must be able to get their own test up to 2 days in advance.

Producer is committed to diverse, inclusive casting. Submissions for nondescript roles will be accepted for all performers, regardless of age, sex, ethnicity, disability, race, color, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender expression, gender identity or any other basis protected by law.

BREAKDOWN OF UPCOMING ROLES

MONDAY, MAY 16 – INOLA, OK

LEON COUNTY BULL RIDERS – Males, 18-35, any ethnicity. People comfortable around livestock. They need to look like bull riders, arena riders.

RODEO COWGIRLS – Females, aged 18-40. Women comfortable around livestock. They need to look like barrel racers, groomers, etc.

LEON COUNTY RODEO STAFF – Males and females, 18-80, any ethnicity. They attend a small-town rode and work the event.

TUESDAY, MAY 17 – SPERRY, OK

OFFICIALS AND JUDGES – Males and females, 18-80. They attend and work at the rodeo. There are contractors, latch men, bull riders, judges and fans.

FRIDAY, MAY 20 – INOLA, OK

DINER PATRONS – Males and females, 40-80. Any ethnicity. A small-town diner.

CASHIER – Female, 18-60, any ethnicity. She works the front at the diner.
