With over 25 films under her belt, Toni Marlo has been a full time production, beauty and SFX artist since 2004. She is an Oklahoma native, and has always had a passion for filmmaking and storytelling.
“As far back as I can remember, it has always been my dream to work in filmmaking. I am deeply rooted in Oklahoma and proud to be part of the rapidly growing film and arts community,” said Marlo.
Marlo splits half her time working on feature films and commercials and the other half being the CEO of MarloHaus, a makeup and hair agency located in the Plaza District that focuses primarily on bridal and special events. Marlo is one of a small handful of makeup artists in the State of Oklahoma to be accepted in the I.A.T.S.E. Local 484 Union. Though she predominately works as Department Head of Makeup, Marlo also has film experience as a producer, 1st AD and stylist. Her skills as a make-up artist have afforded her the opportunity to travel the world and allowed her to work with a long list of acclaimed actors, models, directors, producers and world-class athletes.
“My goal is to see Oklahoma’s film, music and art scene continue to grow. I want to be part of that any way I can. The passion and work ethic we Oklahomans have is so strong and I really feel like we have the capability to compete on a global scale.”
Currently, Marlo is in the works to sign on to five upcoming feature films in the state that may utilize the Oklahoma Film Enhancement Rebate Program, two of which she will also serve as an associate producer.
