Nashville Songwriters Association International Meetings in Oklahoma City
April 13 | 6:30 pm CDT
An event every month that begins at 6:30 pm on day Second of the month, repeating indefinitely
The Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI) is the world’s largest not-for-profit songwriters trade association. Established in 1967, the membership of more than 5,000 active and professional members spans the United States and foreign countries. NSAI is dedicated to protecting the rights of and serving aspiring and professional songwriters in all genres of music.
NSAI offers a myriad of benefits to member songwriters, including online song evaluation, mentoring sessions, pitch-to-publisher opportunities and more! To learn about these offerings, explore the NSAI website at www.NashvilleSongwriters.com. For anyone who seeks to join NSAI and become a regular member of the association, you can sign up on the website. Be sure to check the box indicating you heard about it from us, your OKC Chapter, as that helps us secure more monetary support for our local events. If you’re feeling unsure about how to properly sign up, a coordinator would be happy to help you!
Our Oklahoma City Chapter conducts local meetings and events to empower the local songwriting community in OKC. NSAI members and non-members alike are invited to join us at our monthly chapter meetings, which we hold every second Monday at 6:30pm CST in the Songwriting Room on the campus of the Academy of Contemporary Music in Bricktown. Each meeting includes a discussion in songwriting tips from NSAI, followed by a songwriting critique workshop in which participant songwriters can share their work and receive valuable feedback from other local songsmiths. Participation is free for your first two visits.
Metered street-side parking (not enforced and free-of-charge during our meeting times) available to the North. Enter through the East door. Songwriting Room at the end of the hall!
