G-Fest to Host Live Music, Local Food and Camping

The inaugural G-Fest Music Festival will feature some of the best country, rock and Americana music intertwined with some of the area’s finest festival food June 16 – 18, 2016, at Hatbox Field in Muskogee, Oklahoma.

This outdoor mega music festival will host national headliners such as Oklahoma’s own Turnpike Troubadours as well as The Avett Brothers, Old Crow Medicine Show, Kacey Musgraves, and more. In addition to these well-established artists, the festival will include many up-and-coming acts. Hosting four stages, G-Fest partnered with the Oklahoma Film + Music Office(OF+MO) for the Oklahoma Roots Stage featuring artists from around the state, including the Red Dirt Rangers, Hosty Duo, Maggie McClure, Nicnos, Kalo, Alaska and Madi, Annie Oakley, Steelwind, the Paul Benjamin Band and more.

“As a sponsor of the Oklahoma Roots Stage, OF+MO is pleased to partner with Jim Blair, Festival Director of G-Fest, and to support his inaugural music festival in Muskogee. It’s not every day you get a full 3-day lineup of nationally and internationally recognized talent right alongside some of our finest Oklahoma musicians. We’re really looking forward to this opportunity for Oklahoma to host one of the biggest regional festivals of the summer,” said OF+MO Deputy Director of Music Lindsey Flowers.

“I’m excited to see the venue transform to what I believe will be a premiere site for future events,” said Jim Blair.

For the true outdoorsman (and woman), campsites with hook-ups as well as primitive sites are available adjacent to the festival site. For more information, including the complete lineup and tickets, please visit G-Fest.
