Film Industry Basics Workshop

February 18 - March 5

$69

The Grapes of Wrath (1940), Where the Red Fern Grows (1974), The Outsiders (1983), Rain Man (1988), Twister (1996), The Killer Inside Me (2010) and August: Osage County (2013) have one significant similarity, they were filmed, at least in part, in Oklahoma. It takes more than actors to make a movie. From Gaffers and Grips to Electricians, Welders and Carpenters, the movie industry provides employment opportunities for Oklahomans. Taught by experienced industry professionals learn what goes on behind the scenes, what types of jobs are available and how to make contacts.

Instructors for this program are Trevor Rogers and Zac Thompson.

This workshop runs February 18 – March 5 and March 31-April 16, both on Tuesdays and Thursdays 6:30-9:30PM.
