Concerts at Norman Arts Council Artwalk – September

2nd Friday Artwalk Norman September 2017

Norman Arts Council presents the Opolis 15th Anniversary Party from September 7 through 9. Performances on Friday, September 8 include a special reunion performance from Chainsaw Kittens, Helen Kelter Skelter, Rainbows Are Free, Costello, Wildings, Locust Avenue and more! The festival takes place at Opolis (113 N. Crawford) across an indoor and outdoor stage and is all-ages. Three day-passes are available for $15 at opolis.org, and $1 of each ticket goes on to support NAC Arts Education Scholarships.

Bluebonnet (321 E. Main) will be hosting Steve Stapler from 7 to 9 p.m. and The Wight Lighters from 9 p.m. to midnight.

Bison Witches (211 E. Main) welcomes Norman ska favorites The Big News and singer-songwriter Ali Harter to its new concert stage.

Michaelangelo’s Coffee & Wine Bar (207 E. Main) will have the local singer-songwriter duo Heartbreak Rodeo performing. Their sound is a blend of acoustic, folk, Americana and country music.

Red Brick Bar (311 E. Main) will have live music at 7 p.m. and karaoke at 10 p.m. Sam Pace and the Gilded Grit from Austin TX will be playing a high energy show full of rock n’ roll, roots, blues and soul. Over the past three years Sam has been peppered throughout the Austin Music Awards annual Top 10 lists.

Sergio’s Italian Bistro (104 E. Gray) will have Harumph playing from 8 to 10 p.m.
