Mexico International Short Film Festival

The fifteenth edition of Shorts México – International Short Film Festival of Mexico  will take place from September 2 to 9, 2020 with venues in the 16 mayors of Mexico City, including the Cineteca Nacional, Cinemex Reforma 222, Centro Cultural Bella Época – Lido Cinema, University Cultural Center of UNAM, Lake House of UNAM, Lighthouses and cultural centers belonging to the CDMX Secretariat of Culture.

Shorts México  is the largest film festival specializing in short films in Latin America; a platform that supports and promotes creative expressions of emerging and established filmmakers from around the world. The Night of Shorts Mexico  cycle  is held throughout the year, where premieres, exhibitions, retrospectives and master classes are presented. The exhibition that is made through Shorts Mexico Tour  includes cities and towns in the Mexican Republic, as well as various countries. Shorts México Academy  offers an academic option to encourage professionalization in various areas of cinematography. The festival will feature the Short Film Pitching Competition – Shorts México 2020, with the aim of promoting quality cinematographic creation and production, as well as the Short Film Script Competition.
