Actors are needed soon for a pair of short films produced by Greenlight Creative Productions, a student-led production company practicum at the University of Oklahoma.
Producing the films is JJ Willis, Director of Student Engagement and Outreach for GCP.
All roles are paid, and will film sometime in the last weekend of October and the first two weekends of November.
BREAKDOWN OF FILMS & ROLES
CAPTURE
Directed by Ramsey Looney
Logline: After the director of a documentary crew is unsatisfied with a nervous interviewee’s answers, he decides to manipulate the situation in order to produce the most interesting story.
WARDEN: (Male, 30-60): A stern documentarian who will do anything to uncover a riveting story. Anticipated to be called for 2-3 days. $100/day.
YOU CAN TAKE IT WITH YOU
Directed by Jacob Shaddock
Logline: An entrepreneur develops a new product that he claims will allow people to take their most cherished belongings with them to the afterlife, but as he sets out to empty his inventory, he encounters many logistical and ethical complications.
MARK (Male, 40-50, any ethnicity): A pompous author with a millionaire mindset. Anticipated to be called for 1 day. $75/day.
MADGE (Female, 60s, any ethnicity): A kind-hearted woman with strong religious values. Anticipated to be called for 1-2 days. $75/day.
