The first round of extras are announced for the feature film THE GATES, filming soon in the Tulsa, OK area.
THE GATES is a suspense thriller about three young men who take a short cut through a gated community on their way to a party and become lost within its walls after witnessing a heinous crime. Alliances and assumptions on all sides will be stretched to the breaking point. If justice is going to prevail, the community’s darkest secrets must be forced into the light. But our three young protagonists have the truth on their side. And within “The Gates” – absolutely nothing is more dangerous.
The film is written and directed by John Burr, and produced by Ross Kohn, Nancy Leopardi and Rebellium Films.
The film’s cast is unable to be released.
All scenes will be filmed at night, so call times will be in the evenings around sundown, with wrap around sunrise each day. Pay for background is $80 for up to 8 hours of filming. Anything over 8 hours will incur overtime.
BREAKDOWN OF UPCOMING BACKGROUND ROLES
WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 18
DOCTOR – Non-Caucasian male, 35-60, any ethnicity other than Caucasian.
NURSE – Non-Caucasian female,30-50, any ethnicity other than Caucasian.
JOGGERS – Caucasian males and females, 25-50. Fit, in shape, has an upscale Country Club look. Actual joggers or runners preferred.
FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 20
UPSCALE RESTAURANT PATRONS – Caucasian Males and females, 30-75, Upscale country club members, enjoying dinner at the club either after a round of golf or tennis, or just after a long day at the office. Should have a well-off feel about them. Shaped and sculpted, more comfortable with a 7-iron in their hand.
