PROJECT INFO:
The production is seeking talented individuals for a promotional video shoot for their upcoming sci-fi coming-of-age series, “Sweet Everly.” These videos will be featured on their campaign site and the series’ Instagram page.
PLEASE NOTE: Participation in this shoot does not guarantee a role in the series; however, it does offer actors an opportunity to showcase their talent.
STORYLINE:
“Sweet Everly” is a sci-fi coming-of-age series that follows Azrael Frate, a telekinetic orphan, who resists using his powers due to past trauma. Living in hiding with his siblings under the looming threat of DECS (Department of Enhanced Children’s Services). Azrael’s life gets complicated by a forbidden crush on Everly Monroe, the mayor’s daughter. When his estranged brother Lucian returns, intent on killing Everly and her family in the name of revenge. Azrael must finally embrace his abilities to save her, setting off a chain of events that will forever change his life.
BREAKDOWN OF ROLES:
[AZRAEL FRATE]: 18 to 25. all ethnicities male. An introverted telekinetic who is tormented by childhood memories and a daily fear of losing control. He desires to be “normal” above all else.
[LUCIAN FRATE]: 25 to 30. all ethnicities male. The oldest brother and a powerful telekinetic that is presumed dead. He is fueled by unforgiveness and vengeance, with the goal of destroying the mayor and all those who wronged him.
[XENA FRATE]: 12 to 15. all ethnicities female. Fiercely loyal and spiritually wise for her age, likely a result of her nature kinesis, Xena protects her own and inevitably dampens her own dreams in the process. She has an unbreakable bond with her fraternal twin brother, Archer. Together they form the show’s comedic duo, reminiscent of Tom and Jerry.
[CALLISTO MONROE]: 40 to 50. African American male. A former special agent for DECS and now the town mayor. Callisto is an overprotective but well meaning family man and often worries about the dangers of his past coming back to haunt him.
[BEVERLY MONROE]: 35 to 45. African American female. Beverly is Callisto’s comfort and a devoted mother to their daughter, Everly. She is aware of superhumans and chooses not to question Callisto’s past as a special agent.
