Featured Locations for October 2015: Lone Wolf and Guthrie

This month’s newsletter spotlights two locations which have helped set the scene for screams and scares in a number of productions filmed in Oklahoma. One of Guthrie’s most historical sites, the Guthrie Scottish Rite Temple is a featured location in the soon-to-be-released thriller “Monday at 11:01am“. As one of the world’s largest masonic temples, this multi-faceted space provides filmmakers with quality production value due in part to its lavish construction which features a number of grand ballrooms, auditoriums, offices, living quarters and more. The Quartz Mountain Fun Park in Lone Wolf (pictured above) invites patrons to partake in a number of fun carnival rides, water park adventures and fair food during its seasonal operating hours. The establishment has served as an abandoned theme park of terror in the Oklahoma-made film “The Fun Park” and was most recently featured in “The Posthuman Project“.
