Film and television projects interested in applying for production incentives under the Filmed in Oklahoma Act of 2021 may do so now by accessing the program’s application portal available via the Oklahoma Film + Music Office (OF+MO) website.
The Filmed in Oklahoma Act of 2021, authorized by Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt, offers up to 38% cash rebate with a base of 20%. With $30 million available in FY23, which begins on July 1, 2022, eligible productions with a minimum budget of $50,000 can now apply for filming July 1 – December 31, 2022. The Oklahoma Film + Music Office (OF+MO), a division of the Oklahoma Department of Commerce, administers the state’s film incentive program under the leadership of Director Tava Maloy Sofsky.
