More than 20 of Oklahoma’s folk and roots artists will showcase their talent in the Oklahoma Room at the 28th Annual Folk Alliance International Conference from Wednesday, February 17 through Sunday, February 21 in Kansas City, Missouri.
The International Folk Alliance Conference is one of the five largest music conferences in North America; an annual event that draws together music industry professionals from throughout the world to share ideas, network and celebrate traditional music and dance.
Musicians to perform in The Oklahoma Room include Travis Linville, Jesse Aycock, Wink Burcham, Jacob Tovar, Paul Benjaman, Kyle Reid, Beau Roberson of Pilgrim, Chris Lee Becker, Scott Aycock, Levi Parham, John Calvin Abney, Cody Brewer of Grazzhopper, George Barton, Desi and Cody, Steve Liddell, Kalyn Fay, Annie Oakley, Andy Adams, Don Morris, Carter Sampson, Dan Martin, and Susan Herndon.
The Oklahoma Room is a four-day private showcase at the conference presented by Horton Records, Woody Guthrie Center, Folk Salad Radio, the Oklahoma Film + Music Office (OF+MO), Tulsa Office of Film, Music, Arts & Culture, Marshall Brewing Company, Lambrusco’z, Integriteez, and idTulsa, with the generous support of George Kaiser Family Foundation.
