In partnership with The Academy of Contemporary Music at the University of Central Oklahoma (ACM@UCO), the Oklahoma Film + Music Office (OF+MO) hosted the third annual music-focused event in their Networking + Mentoring Series on the morning of Friday, October 26, at ACM@UCO in Oklahoma City’s Bricktown district. As part of the Oklahoma Arts Conference post events, this year’s discussion, entitled “Artist + Management Partnerships: A Conversation with JD McPherson + Scott Booker”, featuree Scott Booker, Executive Director of ACM@UCO and Flaming Lips Manager, and Oklahoma native rock ‘n roll musician JD McPherson discussing the music industry from the artist and management perspectives.
