Ryan “Staples” Scott is a freelance filmmaker/animator with his company Ryit Creative INC. After writing and directing many short films in various festivals, Ryan completed his first feature length film “Wolf Head” in 2011 which is now available on Amazon, Google Play and iTunes. In 2013, Ryan directed his second feature length film “SKID” written by Rene Gutteridge. The film is currently making rounds on the festival circuit and was named “Best Oklahoma Feature” at the 2015 deadCENTER Film Festival. Ryan is currently working on a new film concept titled “Enos”.
“Films are a bit like symphonies. There are entire sections of people who play their part at just the right time. There’s a culture amongst Oklahomans to be hard working people who work together for a common goal and play to the same music. So making an indie film on an airplane could only be made in Oklahoma. It has just the right mix of collaboration, hard work and unity that makes films happen. And for deadCENTER to recognize us, we feel tremendously honored,” said Ryan.
